've been really, really happy with our education, but i feel like they just kind of leave it out because it's ssrt of like opinionated and they don't like to teach opinions in school. >> you have to be a proud dad with this book? >> i am. her stories just drive the book. what better way to connect with students than stories written by a 13-year-old. so we are really excited. as lauren said, her schools have done such a great job. they've educated her so well she was able to write most of the book at age 13. but we wanted to give the schools and parents another tool in the toolbox to help them to teach the american dream, which is part of what capitalism is all about. >> if you had to, in a nutshell, the elements discussed here and creatively brought out through the characters, what are they? you say this is capitalism. what are the points? >> lauren, you want to take a couple? >> jobs, hope, community, charity, honesty, morals. >> they're all in here. >> they all kind of tie together and form capitalism. >> we want to find a unique way to reach kids. kids are not interested in republican or
policy. i think this is a lot of politics and believe me, i educate people on both sides of the aisle. i've been saving eagles for over 30 years. it took us over 30 years to bring the eagle back from the brink of extinction, a lot of work by hundreds of conservation groups and thousands of individuals across the country that put their heart and soul. and to do this, to give power companies a 30-year hunting license essentially to kill eagles and other birds is -- i think we're opening a pandora's box that will kill millions of birds over the next 30 years. tens of millions maybe, over the next 30 years and i don't understand why we're making this compromise. >> yeah. we've got a graphic to put up that shows the number of eagle deaths from wind turbines. the state of wyoming has recorded the most deaths. the whole problem is folks say, if you got these great big wind turbines, they kill a lot of birds and invariably, there are eagles there as well. what do you want them to do, al? >> well, i think first off, the 30-year permit thing ought to be nixed right now. we've already got five-year
a mission. that mission is an educational product for which the taxpayers paid and students can't interfere with that mission. but where the school is not able to show interference the default position is the freedom of speech. the default position is the freedom of religion and this school board has not been able to show any interference with the delivery of the school's mission by this young woman passing out this literature. >> here's the problem with the school's statement. if they say you can't pass anything out because of a safety issue, why are they okay with posters glorifying dead rappers and drugs and alcohol? >> that probably gets into the political aspect of this. again, i don't know the motivation -- >> if you're talking about safety, drugs and alcohol not necessarily safe. >> i don't know the motivation. i certainly don't know what's in the hearts of the people who wrote this regulation. but it's hard to believe that they would have a regulation that would permit you to distribute literature about dead rappers but not distribute literature about jesus christ. >> here's a state
